Welcome to MidwifeX. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MidwifeX mobile application and services.

By creating an account or using MidwifeX, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract
You must provide accurate and complete information

MidwifeX is intended for users based in the United Kingdom.

3. Services Provided

MidwifeX offers:

AI-powered pregnancy and maternity support (24/7)
Access to qualified midwife consultations (where applicable)
Personalised pregnancy content and guidance

Subscription Plans:

Free Plan: Limited AI access
Standard Plan (£10/month): Unlimited AI + pay-as-you-go midwife services
Premium Plan (£100/month): Includes monthly midwife consultation minutes

We reserve the right to modify pricing or features at any time.

4. Medical Disclaimer

MidwifeX provides informational and supportive content only.

It is not a medical device
It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Always consult your NHS midwife, GP, or healthcare provider

5. User Accounts

You agree to:

Keep your login credentials secure
Use your account personally (no sharing)
Notify us of any unauthorised use

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g. Chargebee)
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
You may cancel at any time
No partial refunds unless required by law

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information
Misuse the AI system
Attempt to reverse engineer the platform
Harass staff or other users
Use the service unlawfully

8. Data Protection

Your use of MidwifeX is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you consent to data processing as described therein.

9. Availability of Service

We aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee:

Continuous availability
Error-free operation

We may suspend or modify services for maintenance or updates.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidwifeX Ltd is not liable for:

Decisions made based on app content
Indirect or consequential losses
Service interruptions

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where required by law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You breach these Terms
Misuse the platform
Create risk to users or the service

You may terminate your account at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updates.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
