1. About MidwifeX®

MidwifeX® is a digital pregnancy and maternity support platform designed to provide educational information, self-management tools, and access to midwife-led support. The platform may include AI-assisted features, recorded consultations, reference links, and user dashboards.

2. Not a Medical Service

MidwifeX® does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making. The platform does not replace care provided by the NHS or other qualified healthcare professionals.

Users must always seek advice from a registered midwife, GP, obstetrician, or other qualified healthcare professional regarding individual medical concerns.

3. AI-Assisted Features

Some features of MidwifeX® use artificial intelligence to provide general informational responses and signposting. AI outputs:

• Are informational and educational only
• May include references to external sources
• Are not clinical advice
• Should not be relied upon for medical decisions

4. Consultations & Recordings

Certain consultations or support interactions may be recorded for clinical safety, quality assurance, training, and service improvement purposes.

Where recording functionality is enabled, users will be notified through the application interface or relevant communication channels. By continuing to use the service, users acknowledge and accept that such recordings may take place.

Recordings, where applicable, are stored securely using industry-standard safeguards and are accessible only to authorised personnel involved in service delivery, support, or compliance.

Users who do not wish to participate in recorded interactions should refrain from using recorded features or discontinue the consultation where applicable.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully
• Not rely on the platform for emergency medical situations

6. Emergency Situations

MidwifeX® is not suitable for emergencies. If you experience urgent symptoms, contact NHS 111, your local maternity unit, or emergency services immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software are the property of MidwifeX® or its licensors. MidwifeX® is a registered trademark.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidwifeX® shall not be liable for any decisions made based on information provided through the platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
